As Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) reach an emotional crossroad in their relationship, a reunion with Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) leaves Tyler (Michael Trevino) faced with a decision that could change his life forever. Meanwhile, Lily’s (guest star Annie Wersching) reckless actions cause Stefan to realize the lengths to which his mother will go to reunite with her “family.” Finally, after a devastating chain of events, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) is forced to make the most difficult decision of his life.over a year ago
It's an interesting theory, but I don't like it. We've already been through a season where Elena doesn't remember loving Damon. If she forgets about him completely, shortly after she got her memories of loving him back, it would be very lame.over a year ago
What do you think about the BTS picture where Damon is using a ring, leading many people to think that him and Elena are getting married? Sorry to ask, I just love your opinions.over a year ago
First of all, I don’t like that we had an “incomplete” Elena for all or almost all of her last season or at least her last “being played by Nina Dobrev” season. The last time when I felt totally happy and at peace with them was the couch scene at the beginning of 5x06, because although there was still much beauty afterwards, them reuniting in the last episodes of S5 were short and overshadowed by what went on around them, and Elena felt somehow tainted for me throughout S6. We went through the “bad for each other”, Katherine-possession, Damon dying, Elena not remembering and so on, without them ever being both their complete real selves again while not – at least, for a short moment – having to deal with the problems around them.over a year ago
But to get to that theory: In earlier years, I wondered about Damon giving Elena a normal life without any of them in it by changing their lives in that way, and I recently thought about him forcing the cure on her and compelling her to live a normal life without him, a compulsion that I also already considered before she turned, but I – in each scenario – always come back to having Elena fighting through that in the end and finding her way back to him, because she always does and because there are things that can’t be erased.over a year ago
I somehow to a certain degree postpone dealing with my emotions until we will know more, and my final decisions will also be influenced by what will be done inside of the story and said outside of it. I mean, I don’t trust anyone from the show, but I need to get at least an impression of the further direction of the show, and the time left before the end of this season is true torture for me, too. I would love Delena to get married, what would connect them more even with her gone, but I think that this ring was used for the “human life scenes” of 6x19, the “strange world” of 6x21 or not on the show at all.over a year ago
That they stick to Delena getting interrupted and that we are not just given everything, gives me hope again. Like also Elena mentioning Damon’s deep loyalty also in love and him mentioning her never abandoning him. It was great that Lily already after only one day realized that Elena is Damon’s greatest love, and non-DE concerning, I liked how Damon knows exactly what Stefan needs to hear to be brought back, and I hope for a “Stefan acknowledging that”-moment soon.over a year ago
Call me a party pooper, but guys, I think you should prepare for the fact that Bamon MIGHT happen. Elena is no more after this season, and she's always been this ship's biggest obstacle. I'm just sayin' we should brace ourselves instead of deluding ourselves with "Damon would never do that!" After the whole Nina incident, never say never.over a year ago
I unfortunately don’t remember the “O.C.”-story in detail, but that story didn’t have hints, signs and parallels for their most popular ship in everything (more about other roles of the actors), and like I said, it didn’t have to be that obvious, but giving small innocent hints, letting us get used to see them physically together, and not going that deeply into the eternity, irrevocably and exclusively aspects of Delena. I don’t know if you ever wrote a story or otherwise created arts, but I just can’t see people stop caring about what was their “baby” for YEARS, and I would hate to only have Bamon happen romantically just because they are around, as I hate to give Nina or anyone else – or even more than one person – the power to change [and ruin] a carefully created and long-ongoing story completely.over a year ago
The writers should not have the people who proved their loyalty and got so many awards for them suffer through the deep desperation that we experience now, before giving them the next devastating “knife is not even enough for a picture of the depth of the pain” in their hearts with letting one of their most despised and feared heartaches happen. They must see all of the polls and media words on how Bamon doesn’t make sense and on by far most people despising it and finding it forced, they repeatedly said directly that they don’t plan Damon and Bonnie as anything beyond friends, and they gave us that “Damon and Bonnie.” – “Don’t make this any weirder than it needs to be.” quote. They dismissed a Bamon romance in their interviews, gave us tons of DE always surviving forever things, and it even seemed that they avoided Damon and Bonnie touching or sharing intimate moments (think about Damon friendly/ brotherly hugging Stefan, Jeremy, Alaric, …).over a year ago
I'm trying to get this poll to the Top Spot in my Club and your vote could really help a lot :) I'd really appreciate it as every little vote counts :)

I think we should fight for them. I know Nina left but Elena could return as a guest star by the end of season 7 and end up with Damon. We just wont shut up about it.over a year ago
Delena always had such a huge and important part in my life that I can't believe they're over. Someone please tell me this isn't happening.over a year ago
She has always said that she likes that she will still be young enough after six years to follow her career as planned. I usually don’t follow rumours and we can never know what is true, but it is all somehow fitting. She at least mentioned wanting to have a career before starting a family, getting married and having kids. I expect her to not be that successful being a TV star from a show that isn’t even considered for several big awards, with not many other famous career achievements and without much of a personal note in the celebrity world. Although it is in general good to have a life plan – and especially to stick to it.over a year ago
And while others were more calling it sad that it COULD be the last time that they do things during S6, she has stuck for years to her “Elena arc for six seasons”-talk. Ian feels with growing age weirder and weirder to play someone in his twenties who spends so much time with mainly teenagers, while Paul doesn’t like Stefan much, but they are allowed to play the evil forms of their characters regularly and even to direct episodes now, while Paul were given the “Silas phase” and Ian the chance to do environment things at the set and to use the popularity of the show for the ISF work and his other project to make the world better, but I hope – and think – that they also won’t stay much longer.over a year ago
