You must be talking about Eric Kripke, the creator of the show. He was actually the showrunner until season 5 (including) and I personally loved season 5, it's my favorite season. When Eric left, Sera Gamble became the showrunner for seasons 6 and 7. Jeremy Carver will take her place in season 8. About season 6, to me it wasn't as good as season 5 but it has some strong and unexpected moments in the end. over a year ago
