Cam Gigandet is only 27, so he isn't too old to play Jared. I thought Stephenie Meyer's said in an interview that she thought the film had the potential to cast famous people? Well, he's really not that famous.

Harmzy, I'm for Henry Cavill playing Ian now. His eyes aren't super blue, but they can fix that with contacts. I had a friend who had sapphire colored ones before. I don't think muscly is an actual word. I think it's muscular.

I don't know who he is but I like Mark Salling for Kyle. My choice for Kyle is another actor whose name is Andy Whitfield. When I saw him ,I really felt like I saw Kyle in flesh and bone :)

I do NOT think Sophia Bush should play Mel... She's too old, and just is not how I pictured her at all. Her look and acting style aren't quite right to me... I haven't found anyone for her yet.
I think Jensen Ackles should be Jared, he's hot, older, and can play both his soft and mean side. I think Chace Crawford should be Ian and Ian Somerhalder for Kyle, because they're both great actors and look a lot alike. I also liked Sam Worthington for Kyle though, but someone that looks similar would have to play Ian. I don't like Josh Hutcherson for Jamie, either. But I did like Robin Williams for Jeb and John Cusack for doc, but only because I love John Cusack. I think someone older would have to play him. And Taylor Momsen realllyyyy looks like Wanda to me, when she has a soft haircut and makeup, but I don't want the cast to be all lame TV actors...
