\'s 200th episode have been released and they have already started the fans squealing with joy.
Two hundred episodes. As a fan of this show since almost the very beginning, I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that we\'ve made it this far. I still remember those dark days back in the early seasons when we all waited on pins and needles to find out if the show was being renewed for another season.
Now, here we are, about to embark on a journey with the cast and crew of
in an episode that promises to be the most meta yet. Here\'s the official synopsis of the episode, called (appropriately enough) "Fan Fiction":
"Supernatural Celebrates Its 200th Episode — When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the disappearance of a teacher, they are stunned to see the school is putting on a musical based on their lives. Familiar faces abound in this milestone episode. Phil Sgriccia directed this episode written by Robbie Thompson."
A musical about Sam and Dean? Familiar faces abound? I am so in!
As if that tantalizing synopsis wasn\'t enough, the folks at the CW have also revealed some photos from the episode. Each one is more fantastic than the last.
It looks like the whole gang will be there in the play, up to and including John and Mary.
How cool is that replica of the Impala? I guess you really couldn\'t do a
play without her, considering how much time the boys spend in the car.
"Dean" sings while his parents put baby Sammy to bed. I\'m dying to find out what the lyrics of that song will be.
Yellow Eyes comes for baby Sammy. There\'s a moment I never thought I\'d see portrayed in a musical.
Speaking of scenes that aren\'t exactly conducive to a play, how cool is that effect they managed to pull off with Mary burning on the ceiling? These kids have some serious talent.
I\'m assuming these two are the writer and director of the play. My hat is already off to them and I haven\'t even see it yet.
Uh oh, looks like it won\'t all be fun and games. Whenever Sam carries a weapon and has that look on his face, it means trouble.
made me wait 6 seasons to fall this hard for Demon Dean
Dean in short sleeves, covered in grease. Did I mention that I am excited for this episode?
That smile. That hair. Those shoulders. I don\'t know if I can wait another week for this episode.
