OMG - not only am i madly in love with this terrific actor and gorgeous man, after seeing him in Bronson i found myself actually falling for Charlie Bronson!!!!! Tom Hardy is an incredulous actor and a body to die for. He worked extremely hard to get the physique he has which is portrayed magnificently throughout the film. It's violent in nature (but that's the truth about what happened to Charlie). I found myself feeling so sorry for Charlie Bronson and the way he was treated by some prison officials. Charlie had a hard life and by the looks of things, continues to have the same. I believe he is now at Long Lartin Prison - which is, by all accounts, not a bad prison. I used to be a voluntary prison visitor and spent a lot of time in UK prisons. Long Lartin had one of the most likeable officers in. Back to Tom - i wish he was on tv more!!! His overall portrail of Charlie was so gripping i didn't want it to end. Love you Tom!!!! - Be Good Charlie!! xx

It was rather interesting! LOL It was an extremely well made film and Tom was incredible (actually, better, but I can't think of a word to describe it!) as per usual. Mind you, we would expect nothing less!
It has a great script and is filmed very differently to your average biographical pieces. With Charlie standing on stage practically telling his story to us, the viewers, depicted as a dimly lit theatre audience, it makes you feel as though you are sitting there in that theatre. Tom does well to portray the ups and downs, the slightly more sane moments and the moments where you wonder what this guy was thinking... he captures all emotions perfectly and portrays them to perfection.
One thing to warn future viewers, however, is that they do not hold back on the nudity lol. When I say you see everything, I mean, you see EVERYTHING...
But anyway, the supporting cast are great, however they are pretty much all smaller, walk-in-walk-out roles and are overshadowed by the amazingness that is Tom :)
Tom does everything in this movie - fights, has a conversation with himself, makes us laugh, makes us sympathise with a criminal... he even sings!
It's a great film :) Its just odd seeing the lovable sweet Tom Hardy as such a psychotic criminal!

I've seen it and i think he plays the role really well he's got the psycho thing down perfectly lol Funniest bit is when Paul Daniels sings the two for tea a tea for two song and charlie says "And would you like a cup of tea to mate?" and nothing about the completely random song haha =) made me chuckle anyway lol
