I hate the name Aisha I love Layla better!

I love the name Aisha! In fact, I have a dear friend named Ay'Sha as well. (Pronounced the same, spelled differently.)

It actually was the original versions name for her. 4kids just changed it for some reason... Though I'm used to Layla more than Aisha, I love the name, I just don't like Nick's version period.

Aisha is the real name,but Layla is translation.
Aisha is more original and special,sure.And I think it´s prettier than just Layla,a very used and everyday name.

Why's they change it in the first place from Aisha to Layla? And why not keep it that way? It's WAAYY too confusing! I like the name Aisha but I like Layla's name for LAYLA!

Aisha is not a Chinese name at all, it is a village girl's name in the Eastern Countries.

During the time I tried to watch the nick version, I kept yelling at the tv, "It's LAYLA! NOT AISHA! What is wrong with you people?!?!"

well i hate how they change her name , i prefer Layla , it sorta closer meaning to 'Lail' which means 'night'in mid-east
but i dont hate the name Aisha i just hate they change her name into Aisha

Oh God. People are still complaining about this? Her name in the original, Italian version of the Winx club is Aisha. They didn't change her name, they changed it back to how it's supposed to be. Layla is used for the RAI English version to sound more... English? Anyway, I don't see a problem in using her original name. That's Nick sticking to the Italian version, which is something I appreciate.

Just my opinion, though.

BUT Aisha sounds WAY to Italian! thats the problem! Amerikans should by American/Egnland stile not Italian! its the same as calling Bloom Bloomiana or what ever

I remember someone saying they preferred Layla because it was more feminine. I remember me thinking, What? You want Aisha to sound more feminine? Um BTW Aisha is a tomboy, she is not feminine!

I like the name because it was the original and like lovebaltor said, 4kids changed it to Layla. I think because they thought it was a stereotypical name.

The name was originally layla cause I watched winx club for 3 years on a chanel called POP and no change but on YouTube one day it says aisha nick can't do that!

Nick never changed her name, RAI changed it to Layla, but it was always Aisha. I don't know why u r all saying it's too Italian. If RAI always kept it as Aisha instead of changing it in the first place, you wouldn't have these conversations! Rai just came in changing the character's names.

I don't hate them I just like Layla better than Aisha I grew up with it being Layla so that's what I'm used to
