in season 2 damon bites him self n forces elena to drink it to she wil come back as a vampire if shes ever killed why did every1 object to this when stfen had already done this to elena earlier in the series when they "staked" elijah

So she would heal after stabbing herself because vampire blood heals wounds and if he didnt feed it to her she would have probably died. But Damon fed it to Elena so that she would become a vampire which Elena didn't want to be.
