WHY SHOULD ELENA STAY WITH STEFAN?

because stephan loves elena for who she is. damon loves elena because she resembles kathrine. In other words to Damon, Elena is like a tool or an object.

She shouldn't stay with Stefan. She should be with the one who truly holds her heart, Damon. Damon and Elena's relationship is so much deeper and more realistic than hers and Stefans. D&E's relationship has been slowly building throughout the series, where as S&E claimed to be madly in love in such a short period of time. It's just not believable.

she should stay with stefan because they have a strong connection, i mean when stefan was going 2 leave they both knew that they couldnt b ewithout each other, even thought elena an damon have a strong connection i believe that he only has some feelings for one cause she looks like kathrine and because she is with his brother. i think that no matter what problems will happen stefan and elena will stay togther cause they need each other

I'm with hvan101 on this half of the way. I think that AT FIRST Damon just thought of Elena as an object and just hung around town to piss Stefan off. But I think as Damon started to get to know Elena he actually fell in love with her. But Stefan on the other hand also loves Elena for who she is. So, yeah.
Damon Fell in love with Elena as he got to know her. But at first he was kinda on the rebound from the whole Kathrine situation. Damon and Elena's love would be sooooo much more stronger then Elena and Stefan's. I say this because Damon, down inside, can be very passionate. And, he just wants somebody to love him and care :)

she shouldent she should be with damon.damon and elena grow in their relationship while stefan and elena were in love after like 10 episodes it takes time with them they get eachother.

I think she should stay with Stefan because hes way better than Dmaon. He more loving, and romantic, and he actually wants be be good, unlike Damon, and he would sacrifice himself for her. Plus, hes better looking than Damon.
