Chapter 1 A dream about a bracelets

My name is Angelique Astrid Hendricks (but my friends just call me Angel), and im 14 years old.i have always haved a boring life, even when i knew i was a halv blood. I live in NYC with my father and a big brother. My mother is Tyche, goddess of fortune. Ironic since Astrid mean "The one the gods love," in old norse. Since Percy Jackson, you know who he is, won the war, all the minor gods demigods children have their own cabin. Im the head counselor in the Tyche cabin. My first adventure begin when i came to camp halvblood for the fifth time:

My dad drop me of in front og halvblood hill, and i... Wait, do I hear snoring? Are you really that impatient? Its going to get exiting, calm down. where was i... Oh yeah, i walked to my cabin. A cabin with white paint and a horse shoe over the door. Inside the cabin it was 12 beds against the wall, under the beds it was coffin, where we had our clothes. I put my suitcase under the bed.

"How was school?" Asked someone, i looked up.

"Oh, hi Ned." I said. I got up. Ned was my reserve head counselor, he lived here all the year around. His face was serious.

"Ned, whats wrong?" I asked.

He told me that Percy disappeared and they build a boat, and the gods stopped to speak to us, and everything about the giants and... You know all about it dont you? Well, then we can jump to the part I fell asleep, or dreamt: i saw my mother, she had blond hair and she was wearing a brown sweater, jeans and a scarf. We was standing in darkness.

"Mom, why did you bring me here?" I asked.

"To tell you about your quest," she said.

"What quest?" I Asked, mom sat dow, dont ask me what she sat on.

"I need something," she asked.

"Can you just say what you need?" I said.

"I need my bracelets," mom said.

"Where do you lost it?" I asked.

"I dont know," she said. "I want you to find it."

"So my quest is to find your bracelets?" I asked.

She nodded.

"It is more important than you think," mom said, "and it's not exactly a quest."

"What do you mean?" I Asked.

"Just find two helpers, and find it," she said.

"What does it look like and where dos I find it?" I asked.

"You know when you see it and I have no idea." Mom said.

The dream began to darken.

I woke up and dressed quickly, it was still dark outside. I ran to the cabin Demeter.

"Psst, Katie, get out here," I said as i knocked on the window. She woke up and came over to the window. Katie was the Head Counselor for Demeter. Miranda replaced her when she was gone.

"Angel, are you crazy?" She asked.

"I'll explain later, get out here," I said. She looked strangely at me, but did as I said.

She came outside, i grabbed her arm, and pulled her towards the Apollo cabin. I did the same to Joey, a boy who was my friend before i knew I was a halvblood.

"Angel, what are you doing?" Asked Joey.

I told them about the dream.

"So you are going to find a goddess bracelets, and you dont know were it is?" Asked Katie.

"Pretty much," I said. "Are you coming with me?"

"Yeah, lets go." They said.

Oh no,must you go already? Well then, I shall tell you the rest of the story later.

Chapter 2 The seventh boss in the house

We went into the forest, there were many sounds there. It was dark and cold. In the horizon we saw a bright light, it was the same color as gold, it hovered over our heads. It was a the gold bird, as in the old stories that grandma told me, grandmother was Norwegian and she still lived there.

"What was that?" Asked Katie.

"I have no idea," said Joey.

"It is a the gold bird," I said.

"Have you seen it before?" Asked Joey.

"No, but if a bird is a golden bird," I said.

When we had gone further than long (It's like they say in fairy tales.) We were getting tired, or was tired. A small house, the house looked old. One man stood and carved wood.
He was wearing old-fashioned clothes.

"Hey, uh, we can stay here tonight?" Asked Katie, I know he could be a monster and blah blah blah, but I was to tired to care. The man looked up and said:

"I'm not the boss of the house, go to the kitchen and ask my dad."

We thanked him and went innside. The house was very large innside.

A man satt by the fire and tried to warm himself, he was old and was dressed in old clothes.

"Excuse me, can we stay here tonight?" I asked, he looked at us and said:

"I'm not the boss of the house, ask my father he is sitting in the living room."

We thanked him and went to the living room. This man was even older than the other two. He wore the same kind of clothes as the others. The man was shaking and had his nose in a book.

"Excuse me, can we sleep here tonight?" Asked Joey, the man looked at us and said:

"I'm not the boss of the house, asking my dad he is sitting on the bench."

We thanked him and went to the bench, there was even older man, he sat with a pipe, but he trembled so that he almost did not get the pipe up to his mouth.

"Excuse me, can we stay here tonight?" I asked, he looked at us and said:

"I'm not the boss of the house, asking my dad, he lies in bed."

We thanked him and we went to bed, there was a man, that the only living on him was his eyes.

"Excuse me, we can sleep here tonight?" Asked Katie, he looked at us and said:

"I'm not the boss of the house ask my dad, he is in the cradle."

"How many bosses can it be in a house?" Asked Katie.

"I dont know, but I dont think we're done." said Joey.

We went to the cradle, there was a man so small that he looked like a baby.

"Can we stay here tonight?" I asked.

"Huh?" Said the man.

"Can we stay here tonight!" I cried.

"Wait a bit," said the man and took up a horn and held it against his ear.

"Can we stay here tonight?" Asked Katie, it took a while until he answered.

"I'm not the boss of the house, ask my dad, he is the horn." He said.

"He's where?" Asked Katie.

"Uh, Katie," said Joey, he pointed to the wall. On the wall hung a horn and innside it was a really old man.

"Can we stay here tonight?" I asked, the man smiled.

"Off course, my children," said the old man.

In the next moment I was in a room and before I had time to wonder where I was I fell asleep.

Chapter 3 The girl nobody could make shut up

I woke up after a dreamless sleep, but I was no longer in the house with the eight men. We were now in a forest, the same as we were the day before.

"Katie, Joey! Wake up!" I cried.

"What? " Asked Katie, she looked around.

"What happened with the house? " Asked Joey.

"I have no idea," I said.

"But we have food," said Katie, she pointed to a basket that stood between us.

Katie Gardner:

"Dear, give me some food," said a voice.

We looked around to see who spoke, an old lady who has stuck her nose in a stump, and believe me it was a long nose.

"How did you get your nose in there?" Asked Katie.

"I was just going to chop some wood then I was stuck," said the lady.

"How do we know that you're not a monster?" Asked Joey. She ignored the question.

"Help me and I'll say where the necklace for your mother is," she said.

"How do you know?" I asked

"Threes blab too," she said. I looked at my friends, they nodded. I took the old lady from behind and Joey tried to get her nose out. When she got loose and we got her some food, she said:

"You helped me, so I'll tell you where to find the necklace. A girl has it, but she talks too much so her father promises to help those who get her to shut up."

"So we'll try to get her to shut up?" I asked.

"Will you succeed , so bring things you find along the way," said the old lady.

"What sort of things?" I asked.

"You will see," the old woman said, then she was gone.

"So which way shall we go?" Said Joey.

"That way," Katie said, a sign said : "This way to the house with the girl nobody can shut up."

"Well, they are honest," said Joey.

We followd the signs.

"See I found something," said Joey.

"What did you found?" I asked.

"A dead bird," said Joey.

"Ok," Katie said.

After a while Joey found a belt, a bowl, two horns,a scarf and a old shoe

"How can you find so many things?" I asked.

"I have no idea," he said.

Then we came to the house, the house was red and little.

"Shall we just go inside?" I asked.

"Ok," said Joey.

No one guarded the house. A man sat in a chair.

"Who are you?" The man asked.

"We are her to make the girl shut up," said Joey.

"Do you accept the conditions?" Asked the man.

"What conditions?" Asked Katie.

"That the one that try and couldnt make the girl shut up, shall be burn mark on his ears."
He said.

"I shall do it," Joey said.

"Are you sure?" I asked, he nodded.

"Are you done?" Asked the man. We nodded.

"Then the girl can come inn," said the man.

A girl came inn.

"Good day," Joey said.

"Good day," she said back.

"Its hot here," said Joey.

"Its hotter in the bonfire," said the princess.

"Great, I need a place to Barbecue
this bird," he said han showed the girl the bird.

"Im afraid it gonna crack," the princess said.

"Its ok, I have this belt," said Joey, and took the belt over the bird.

"Its too big," said the girl.

"Its ok, I have this scarf," Joey said, and pushed the scarf innside the belt.

"The fat is gonna flow out," said the girl.

"Its ok, I have this bowle," said Joey.

"You are twisted in words," said the girl.

"No, im not twisted, but this is twisted," Joey said and took up one horn.

"I have never seen anything like it," the girl said.

"Here you have like it," said Joey and took up the other horn.

"I think you are expired to make me shut up," the girl said.

"Im not expired, but this is," he said, he showed the old shoe to the girl.

She didnt say anything.

"So where is the necklace?" I asked.

"I gave it to the old woman in the village." Said the girl.

This was almost like the old fairytale: the princess nobody could tie-tonque.

Chapter 4 The seven sisters

"Where is the village?" I asked.

"Over the mountain," the man said.

"Which mountain?" Joey said.

"The seven sisters," The girl said.

"Is that a mountain?" Katie asked. The girl nodded.

"Which way?" I asked.

" Go north, you will see it," the man said.

We thanked them and walked out. It began to get dark.

"Well, north?" Katie asked.

"Yeah," I said.

After a while, we came to a mountain. It was seven mountains, but they hang together. But it was a lake in front of the mountains.

"What are we going to do now?" Katie said.

"Swim?" Joey asked.

"No, seriously," Katie said .

"Do we have another opinion?" I asked.

"Well, my pegasus always come when Im whisle on him," Joey said.

"Three on one pegasus?" Katie asked.

"Fine. Water nymphs?" I asked.

"I cant see anyone," Joey said.

"They cant always be seen," Katie said and rolled her eyes.

"So what are we going to do?" I asked.

"Do you need help?" A voice said.

"Katie, did you said anything?" I asked.

"No, I hoped it was you," Katie said, we turned around, a girl with black hair to her knees, her dress was green, it looked like it was made of seaweed. She looked like a water nymph.

"Are you a nymph?" I asked. The nymph smiled and said:

"No, but almost."

"So what are you?" Joey said.

"I am the daughter of the mountain king," she said.

"Ok," Katie said, she was still suspicious, to be honest I was too.

"Back to the question, you will help us?" I asked.

"Sure, what do you want?" She asked.

"To reach the mountain without being wet," I said.

"Hmm, i think I can help with that," she said.

"Really?" Joey asked.

"Sure, you can go around it," she said.

"Wait, you can go around it?" Katie asked.

"Emmm, duh," The nymph said.

"So lets go," Joey said.

I turned against the nymph "Are you comming?"

"What?" Katie said "excuse me for a minute" She said to the nymph and the nymph walked away.

"What are you thinking?" Joey said.

"I can answer that: nothing!" Katie yelled.

"Ha ha, very funny." I said.

"She can be a monster," Joey said.

"She helped us, how could she be a monster?" I asked.

"I dont know, why did Cole leave Ellie for Milly?" Katie said and blinked tears from her eyes.

"You have watched "Goggle girl" havent you?" I asked.

"Back to the point," Katie said, "I dont trust her."

"Not me either," Joey said.

"Come on, please," I begged.

"Why do you want her to help us?" Katie asked.

"I dont know, I just think we need a little help," I said.

"Oh, fine," Katie said.

"You can come now!" I called.

"Good, ready?" She said.

"Where? you? what?" Katie asked. The nymph ignored her.

"Yeah, we`r ready," I said. We began to walk, I didnt see the path that goes around the mountains.

"Why is it called seven sisters?" I asked. The nymph looked up to the mountains.

"They was children of the mountian king too, they was my sisters." The nymph said.

"How did they become like this?" Joey asked.

"The sun hited them," the nymph said.

"The sun?" I asked.

"If the sun hit us we turn to stone," she said.

"And you survived?" Katie said.

"Yes," the nymph said.

"What are your name?" I asked.

"Leka," Leka said.

The path was like stones over the lake. The path ended, we standed on the ground now.

"Thanks," I said. Leka smiled.

"Any time," she said.

"What are you doing now?" I asked.

"My father isnt very nice so im living on that island," she said, she pointed on a little island in the middle of the lake.

"We still going north?" Emily asked.

"Hmm, I think so," I said and turn against Leka, but she was already gone.
