Ok people I'm apologizing in advanced if this is too short for you.
So there has been a lot of relentless arguging on what the POV(s) will be and I want to get all of the facts out in the open and seperate two things.
The two things that has to be seperated is the fact that people who say Percy will be one of the POVs or people who say that the POVs will stay the same as the last book. People who say Percy will have a POV are mostly saying that because they are hoping for that to happen not because they have facts to back their choice up. It is getting on my nerves how people are just making assumptions not because of rock hard, solid facts. They think, "Well, the title says Son of Neptune then the second book has to be about Percy!" and I say, "WRONG!" It doesn't mean it HAS to be about him. It could be BUT title's have double meanings just like prophecies. It could go a little something like this:
"Percy!" said Annabeth.
"Who are you?" asked Percy.
"So this is the all mighty son of Poisdean I have heard about," says Leo.
"Poisdean? I think you mean Neptune." says Reyna.
"No, he is a Greek not a Roman." says Annabeth.
"The Greeks have died." says Reyna.
"No, the exist side by side. He is a son of Poisdean." insists Annabeth.
"SON OF NEPTUNE!!!" screams Reyna.
You see the whole book could be from Leo, Jason, and Piper's POV and there search for the Roman camp and at the very end you see Percy. Voila! No Percy has POV. For some you might have just read this but not have computed what I just said because you are still hanging on to the fact that Percy will have a POV. Oh, well I tried.
Now, on to the facts that back everything up.
Percy has a POV.
*The title: Son of Neptune
Percy does not have a POV.
*RR said that Percy will not play a big role therefor, he does not have a POV.
*What could they possiably do at CCS. At Camp Half-Blood they will be searching for the Roman Camp and building the Argo II.
The facts are out numbered 2-1 with Percy not having a POV.
Don't let this article make you think the wrong way about me. I do and I repeat I DO want Percy to have a POV but I'm not one of the people who just because they want him too belive he will.
