CHAPTER THIRTEEN
I decided to take it easy tonight. I flipped on the T.V. and found a re-run of Degrassi: The Next Generation.
"I don't know, Janie. We'll have to figure out how this happened, we can't just jump to conclusions," Percy said quietly.
Janie spoke softly because Elizabeth had fallen asleep in the chair. "Well, we have to get moving!"
Percy nodded, "I know."
I sat up and looked at them, "Listen, we'll figure out her-" I pointed at Elizabeth, "-later. it's almost one in the morning. Give it a rest!"
Janie sighed and stood up, "Well then, I'll just go to bed!" She stomped off, leaving the sleeping Elizabeth, Percy, and me.
Suddenly, Elizabeth stood up so fast, she blurred. "Hmm," she smiled at me. "Eve was right, you are pretty."
My breath wasn't coming to naturally anymore. I had to work for it.
"Please don't tell me we told you everything so you can go report to Eve about it."
She smiled, "That would be harsh," she looked around, then whispered (low enough so Percy didn't hear), "But this doesn't suck for me, it does for you."
Percy was now right behind her. He held the bag of golden dust in his left hand. Jis right hand was trying to grab the perfect amount of dust to sprinkle on her.
"What are you looking at?" Elizabeth's smile fadded.
"Your rotting body in tartarus."
She gasped, "You idiot! That must be you!"
Janie sleepily walked out of her room as everything went crazy. I couldn't breath, so I was gasping. Janie fell to the floor, yelling, "Air! Air user those aren't real!" until she ran out of breath.
Percy stood there. He looked a little shaken, but than a water bubble was around his head so I knew he was fine.
He (finally) threw the golden dust on Elizabeth, making her fall to the floor and flail around like a fish out of water. Then, in a blinding light, she dissapeared.
For a minute or two, it looked like fire on the floor. Percy sighed, then he pushed the water that was around his head to the floor and it was gone. It didn't leave any marks at least.
I looked at Percy, "What does this mean?"
He shook his head, "I don't know."
Well, I'm back! The next part should be out by Monday. :) Thanks for the support.
