He told Dean that he is the perfect vessel for the Saint Michael. Michael is the ark angel that is to defeat Lucifer in the finale battle for earth. Dean told him “hell no” at which point Zachariah put cancer in Dean’s stomach. When Dean still refused he took Sam’s lungs, trying to force Dean to allow Michael in his body. At this point Castile sent Zachariah away. Then he carved symbols on Sam and Dean’s ribs that would make them “invisible” to the angels, Lucifer included since at one time he was an angel.
