I gotta question about Sam & Dean's extended family

The storyline with Mary and her family in Season 3 was greatly abbreviated due to the writer's strike. And I don't think they had an opportunity in Season 4 or 5 to readdress it.

My theory is that the Campbells simply went underground. They're hunters from a long line of hunters. The second that they realized they were being targeted, they would go as deep as they could. And given the generations of experience and knowledge they had available to them, I have no doubt that they could avoid detection.

I don't think anyone other than Samuel was resurrected.

Wow, that's a really great question:) I always felt they had Sam find that info out and then the writers didn't follow through with it, like they dropped the ball or forgot about it. Then they needed the extened family in season 6, so they had to figure out who they could make up from who they hadden killed off in season 3. So the info from season 3 didn't do much for the story, I felt.Have I totally confused you with my ramblings yet:)) Sorry if I didn't help much:)But I don't think the cousins were brought back, just some how found.
