Question about Cas

I have a little doubt, it'll be a big help to me if anyone helps out!

Okay so towards the end of s5, when Cas banishes the angels in 5x18 he appears to be stripped of his powers completely, and until he isn't killed by Lucifer and resurrected again in 5x22 i guess he was human for that period of time...

So if during that period, someone uses an angel banishing sigil with Cas nearby, would it affect him??

then in 5.21 Pestilence calls him "an occupied vessel, but powerless." to which Castiel famously replies that he maybe has "just a speck" of angel left in him ;)

makes sense... the thing is, i'm writing a fanfic where Cas temporarily loses his powers due to a diff reason and i wanted to know what wld happen if Dean tried to use the sigil to banish some other angels if Cas was there with him too...

i think since it hasn't really been defined one way or the other on the show, you have dramatic license to make it go down however it works best for you story ! :D
