How do you describe a Wendigo?

I am writing a horror story to my English teacher and in the story there is a boy who's being chased by a Wendigo, but the problem is that I have absolutely no idea how to describe the Wendigo! please help me! :S <3

Anyways, Ermmmm... I'd probably just describe it as Dean does. It used to be human, and in a harsh winter, when cut off, they'd become a cannibal to survive and feed off members of their tribe. Over time, it becomes a "less-than-human" thing....and that's about all he says..? :S You could try googling it?? Good luck with that...haha

thanks so much for your answer and it helps a lot! and I did google it - now I can't stop reading about it! xD It's really intresting! :) and incorporating supernatural into schoolwork makes school so much fun! :) btw, what's your story about? :D

Haha, good good :) it's about how the hunting job got started, but with a girl as the character (instead of Sam) and it's from her point of view. Writing flashbacks of the argument she left her father in and stuff, I'm loving it! xx
