Do you think Robert’s relationship with Giselle was rushed.

I know his wife(whoever she was) left him 6 years ago but come on you can’t just fall for someone you don’t really know that well and I know Giselle showed him a whole new world where everyone is happy and not cynical or boring like he was before he became a handsome prince charming type man who now believes in romance and all this nonsense on love life(sure I wish life was like that all the time). Am I the only one who finds this I dunno weird?.
