That was the dumbest part of the plot by far. It made no sense at all and was just obviously thrown in there just to give Jack some action.
In the theater I literally heard people saying "What????" When she kissed him.

No, I don't. Mainly because I never liked her with Will and I've liked Jack/Elizabeth since the first movie. All that fun stuff aside, I actually found Elizabeth annoying in the second and third movie. She got all crazy flirty and slightly stuck up, but hey, I still like her.

at first i really liked elizabeth because she was great. and i was also thinking she'd be a great partner for jack. then in POTC 2, she was such a flirt and i hated her for kissing jack then leaving him alone to be offered as bait for the kraken. she's so annoying! its a good thing jack learned his lesson. he never kissed her again at POTC3. he refused. :DD
