My Father died when I was 12-very devastated. The Beatles, with no effort, were there for me when no one else was. I love the Fab-4, but Paul is special. Lyrics are gentle, true, soothing, but the music from his guitar, looks & voice-attached 4ever. I listened thru LPs and 45s. I wore the diamond-head needle out more than once. Rubber Soul album is very dear to me. I sing all the time. But all is great..Wings...I truly Love! My last will and testament has requirements that include The Beatles...but featuring Paul.

I don't exactly remember. In Peru, we didn't have that stuff plus I was like 4. When I was 7, I think, I first heard Let it Be, I loved the song, but didn't care too much for it. In school, we heard the song Yellow Submarine when I was eight or nine. Again, liked the song, but didn't care too much for it. You see, my parents were never really Beatles fans. Then at 9, "1" the album by the Beatles was on sale, and my mom,( who sort ofliked the Beatles, but only bought the album was on sale) got the album. She didn't really listen to it, I didn't really listen to it. Last year, at 13, I took a good listen at the radio and listened to the music and though 'This is crap, all they sing about is sex and alcohol, and half of them use tons of autotune on their voice" Then, after seeing a ton of ads for Beatles rockband and Beatles on iTunes, I decided to listen to the cd. I really enjoyed their songs. And now at 14, I'm a huge Beatles fan.

When I was 14, I'd bought a new iPod and wasn't sure how to work it. My brother promised to help me if I promised to put some of his favourite albums on it, one of which was the Beatles' '1' album. I agreed, but didn't really do much about it. A couple of months later, I was walking down the street with my iPod on shuffle, and 'Hey Jude' came on. It nearly made me stop dead in my tracks, it was so amazing. I went back and listened to the entire album over and over again. I haven't stopped listening to them since.

Well, I've been listening to The Beatles even before I was born. In the year I was born, the Christmas before was the one where Paul's 'Wonderful Christmastime' was playing non-stop. Then I grew up listening to them, and they really never caught my attention. Then I really got into tobyMac, a Christian artist, and The Beatles were really out of the picture. It all changed though when my Dad put in the CD 'Magical Mystery Tour' in my CD player. I listened to it all the time, and I kept asking him who they were, and if they had more. He smiled and brought up half of their albums, to my amazement. Then I got Beatles Rockband and saw the clip of them in the train messing around with a headset, and realized how cute they were. Then the posters overtook my room, the records, the movies, the interviews, the piano music, and of course, the music. :)

My first Beatles song was 'Yesterday.'
When I was about 10 I had a pet rat that died and I was very depressed so I pulled out my MP3 player and turned it on. That was the beginning of the end. I raided my Dad's computer files and put EVERY BEATLES ALBUM I COULD FIND on the little contraption.

I lived in Karachi, Pakistan as a child in 1962. I would get the Beatles singles from London, before they went to US. They landed in Karachi on their way to Japan...I was thrilled!
