Merlin on BBC Question

Please help: Does anyone remember what was the name of Arthur's mother?

Uther said it at some point I just can't remember! What her name Igraine? Because in the legend Arthur is Igraine's son (and so is Morgana). Thanks in advance :)

I didn't consider it myself till I saw it on the offical cast list. Arthurian name spelling are funny that way... seems like there's always a few versions of the same name. :)

merlin emrys is welsh, merlinus ambrosius was also used in the legend. just a useless fact cos i was researching the legend.
