Well, I know how Arthur dies, but I'm not sure about Uther. Maybe its the same way? If you'd like to know how arthur dies, I'll tell you, because I studied the story of king arthur for a while.

WHO WANTS SPOILERS??? Scroll down if you do.

ok, according to the story of king arthur, not sure if it actually happens in merlin, this is how it goes...
Uther dies in a battle with the luke of tintagil, leaving him dying and arthur is now king. 10 years later, arthur meets mordred, and stabs him, but with his last ounce of strengths, pulls it out and stabs him back. They were half brothers, and they die together. The dragon said, "lets the boy die" but merlin didn't, he let him live, and will never fulfill his destiny.

I think uther will be killed by Morgana or as a result of something she does. Personally she is one of my fave characters because she is so conflicted and she can't decide between being with those who are like her or the ones she loves. I think she will be pushed to the limit by something Uther does, and then she will kill him with magic- unintentionally! Wouldn't that be awesome?? If she just has some crazy fit of magic and kills him and then regrets what she did? But she kind of doesn't because part of her hates him! I think so! I think complex character emotion is the key to a show like this! It keeps it compelling!!!!
