Theories, metaphors, symbolism, meanings, codes, and subliminal messaging: I didn't know what half of these word meant before she was in my life.
2. LOVE FASHION-
I used to think it didn't matter and fashion statements were just words and pictures on a t-shirt. Now fashion can tell a story and make you relive a memory; make others aware of your interests in a glance a make their minds explode in an instant. Plus it can make you look GORGEOUS.
3. DISCOVER THE PAST-
Who's David Bowie, Ziggy Stardust, Madonna, Alexander McQueen, The Beatles, Andy Warhol or Queen? What about Yoko Ono, John Lennon, Grace Jones, Elton John, Marylin Monroe, Judy Garland, Sylvia Plath, and JonBenet Ramsey? I know now, but I would've had no clue of whether you were talking about people or vacuums a few years ago.
4. AN ART LOVER
I use pop shows, wear fashion installation, and interpret performance art, all because of Gaga. Art is a lie, a lie us Little Monsters have a duty to uncover, to find the truth. Creativity is, after all, one of the most important things we have.
5. A BETTER PERSON-
I used to be homophobic and say things like ,"Oh my God, thats so gay." Or ,"You're so retarded." I used to believe the stereotypes and tease people for being 'weird' or going against the crowd. Now my friends or family will say something like that and I'll say ,"Stop. Thats not funny. Don't use that term around me. In fact don't use it at all. You know you offend a whole community of people when you say that, right? Thats like saying ,'You're so that person whos close-minded and isn't smart enough to accept people who are much better and braver than you.'" I can't stand people who can't realize that. However, I feel bad for them, since they cannot see rainbows. And now, I love those 'weird' rebels, because those are my friends and I.
6. A FREE LITTLE MONSTER
She has made me realize that ,"I'm beautiful in my way, 'cuz God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track, baby, I WAS BORN THIS WAY!"
