How did Robin get the nickname, "Roland"?

Its just that I see it fanart alot of the time and I just wanted to know how it came about(what episode)and if it's an 'official' nickname(made up by the show)or if it was just made up by the fans.

chloe the crazy-eyed-coffee-girl marshall went oot with wrote "swarley" on barneys cup so everyone started calling him that. later when chloe was introduces to robin she said "its nice to meet you, roland". barney wanted to make a "thing" of it,too, by mocking the name roland- but failed :P
