"Hey you Guys, Hilarie hanging out here in my kitchen after a long day of work...well it really wasn't that long. I only had two scenes today. I have a pretty great job, uh, and I've always had a really great job. And it was announced yesterday that One Tree Hill is coming back for season 7, yeah. It's very exciting, and I'm very excited for everybody involved.
Um, there's all sorts of rumors flying around about me, and whether or not I am coming back, and I just want to clear up one thing that is very important to me. And that is, I want everyone to know how much I love Peyton Sawyer, and my crew. (long silence)
And I've had a really good run, and I wish I had creative control over the show you guys but I don't. But if I did, um, it would go on for a million years, and Peyton Sawyer would cry for you all the time. Cause she does that, and um I just don't anyone to think I am abandoning a place that has been very good to me.
So with that being said, I want you guys to watch because another year of One Tree Hill means another year that my entire crew is employed and working and that is the reason Kelly and I started Southern Gothic because we really believe in everything this area has to offer, it is a wonderful place, and I really wonderful crew, and I ask that you guys support the show, and support them and uh, and yeah watch the rest of season 6, it's gonna be really good.
Um, and in the mean time we have so much going on with Southern Gothic. And your support has meant the world to me, and I am excited to see what happens and unfolds for our little company that could, and in the next year, but I want everyone to know how appreciative I am, and yeah it's a good thing...so thank you guys, for caring and we'll see what happens."
I personally admire the work Hilarie has done, and keeps doing for all of us. And am moved by her astounding love for her character and her crew. She truly is an amazing person, and I wish her the best in Southern Gothic, and all her numerous endeavors. We are blessed to have gotten to know her, and her talent no matter what happens to Peyton, she and Hilarie will always be in our hearts.
Though the message is quite vague (her confidentially clause) she tried to make it quite clear the love she has for her fans, her crew, and the business. Which at the end is all that matters, love.
I sincerely hope, none of the issues hurt her in anyway, and I hope we can all wish her the best. It may break my heart to watch season 7 without her or Peyton, but if it supports a cause she is passionate about, then I will.
Hilarie truly is a terrific lady, and we are blessed to know her. To Hilarie and the future of Southern Gothic.
