1. Some more minor characters, such as Dobby, were only included in the films where their roles were pivotal. Others such as Peeves were excluded entirely. The development of minor relationships such as Tonks/Lupin and Bill/Fleur was cut.
2. The locations for Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione's first kisses were both altered in the films. Some smaller scenes between the couples were also changed or added in. Scenes such as Harry and Hermione dancing in Deathly Hallows were added to please their fans and to create more of an impression of a love triangle.
3. Some characters' appearances didn't fully match their descriptions in the books. Harry didn't have green eyes since Daniel Radcliffe was unable to wear coloured contact lenses. Lily didn't have the same eye colour as him either. Hermione didn't have bushy hair and buck teeth as described in the books.
4. Only Quidditch games where a significant event occurred were shown in the films. Gryffindor were not shown winning the Cup in the third film.
5. The scene of Dumbledore beginning to prepare the fight against Voldemort at the end of Goblet of Fire was omitted. He wasn't shown asking Snape to return to his spy-work, asking Sirius to contact old Order members or asking Hagrid and Madame Maxime to contact the giants.
6. The battle at the end of Half-Blood Prince was omitted too. Instead, there was an attack on the Burrow earlier in the film.
7. The majority of the memories showing Voldemort's past were omitted. As a result, it wasn't clear how Dumbledore and Harry knew what objects could be Horcruxes or where they could be hidden.
8. During his final confrontation with Voldemort, Harry didn't explain how he had become the true master of the Deathly Hallows. Neither did he explain the truth about Snape's motivations and allegiance.
9. The scene of Neville killing Nagini was moved to coincide with Voldemort and Harry's confrontation, instead of occurring shortly beforehand as in the book.
10. Both Bellatrix and Voldemort were given dramatic death scenes, with their bodies crumpling and dissolving into nothingness, instead of simply dying normally as in the book.

As a groundbreaking expedition begins in the Antarctic, pop-up penguins have been spotted from London to Seoul, Buenos Aires to Sydney, and Johannesburg to Washington DC, marching for an Antarctic Ocean Sanctuary.
The striking geometric sculptures have appeared by national landmarks across the globe, on local transport, and traveling to the Antarctic with suitcases in hand, including by the White House, Buenos Aires’ colorful Boca district, Sydney Opera House, and the Sagrada Família in Barcelona. One of the penguins even put on a Harry Potter scarf at the famous Platform 9 3/4 which in the book is located at Kings Cross Station in London.
