Chapter 7
Just over a week passed at Hogwarts, Students got pulled back into subjects, teachers piled on homework and Quidditch practises were started. Draco and Hermione continued to get on with all of their jobs as Heads while managing not to fight too much. That said they did act differently, they tried to avoid each other the best they could. Never looking the other directly in the eye, both remembered clearly what had happened that second night but it was never mentioned. After that Hermione made sure she remembered to put a silencing charm on her door at night so if she did scream she wouldn’t wake Draco up, she didn’t want him to have an excuse to tell people about her nightmares. For all he knew after that night they had stopped, but they hadn’t. Hermione knew that they would stop soon enough, they always did but as soon as it was mentioned it set her off into another few weeks of night-time torture. She kept the bleeding scratches on her arm hidden by a bandage and then the sleeves of her robes.
Professor McGonagall had approved of the Christmas ball, saying “it will be something good for them to look forward to, especially those who were staying at the school over Christmas.” They had decided that no one would be told of the Ball for a few months as it may disrupt people’s education if they were too excited.
Hermione and Ginny spent as much time as possible together. Ginny could almost always be found in The Head’s common room studying or doing homework and when she wasn’t there she would be playing Quidditch. Ginny had started disappearing more than normal though but Hermione just assumed she would be spending time with Charlie; she wasn’t used to having so much time with him. She was happier now though, no longer crying or walking away if someone mentioned ‘The Great Harry Potter’ it was almost as if nothing had ever happened. Almost.
I said it would be a short chapter and I know it’s pathetic but it was the best I could do. Sorry, all I ask is that you keep reading as eventually I will get my arse in gear and start writing better again.

Harry woke with a start as Teddy’s cries pierced the small room. He groggily climbed out of the warm bed and stumbled over to the bassinet by the window. In the moonlight he could see that Teddy’s hair was bright pink. Chuckling to himself, he lifted the baby out of the crib and started over to the rocking chair.
He fed Teddy some warm milk.He stopped crying. Harry smiled, and Teddy smiled back.Harry put him back in the crib.Instantly Teddy fell asleep.

1. You've read the books more times than Hermione has aced an exam.
2. You've learned another language just so you didn't have to wait a few months for the book to be translated into your native tongue.
3. You have permanently tattooed Harry Potter iconography onto your body.
4. You have played Quidditch ... not in a video game ... in real life.
5. You have been stocking up with tissues for months in anticipation of the final book in the series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.”
6. There is a room in your house that looks like it belongs in Hogwarts.
