Harry Potter Question

J.K. Rowling regrets Ron/Hermione???

So, I've read on a website that J. K Rowling stated that she ended up regretting putting Ron and Hermione together...does anyone know if it's true??

That quote's been madly misinterpreted. The gist of what she originally said was:
Ron and Hermione wouldn't be as perfect a couple as some fans seem to believe. They would still argue and would likely need marriage counselling. She said that wasn't a bad thing.
She also admitted that there was a moment (the dance scene at the end of Deathly Hallows Part 1) where she realised that Harry/Hermione could have worked as a couple too.
She said that Ron/Hermione was the couple she'd intended when she first began writing, and that's the main reason she stuck with that pairing.

Thank you for your clarification :) Now that it comes to my mind, I actually read a Dramione fan saying so and I was very surprised thinking she meant J.K had the SAME kind of feelings. Anyway, now everything seems right: Ron and Hermione will ALWAYS fight, that's part of what they are...and putting Harry and Hermione together after all the witch has been through with Ron would have been kinda inconsistent. Thanks again :)

Personally, I don't see how Harry/Hermione could happen after the events of book 6. Harry would have to get over Ginny, Hermione would have to get over Ron, Harry would have to either believe Ron was over Hermione or suddenly not care about his best friend's feelings....

That's right, I completely agree with you
