Harry Potter Question

How Far Do You Think The Dursley's Abuse Went?

It is mentioned a lot in the book how Harry usually stands far away from Vernon's reach, How they tried to beat the magic out of him, Vernon trying to strangle Harry, and Petunia Swinging a Frying at his head. So how far do you believe the Dursleys abuse went? Curious to know everyone's opinion.

Well, the book was third person POV, but it also showed things from Harry's perspective. So I think the abuse only went as far as how he felt it did. He was the one on the receiving end after all.

I think Uncle Vernon could have hit Harry sometimes, as well as Dudley, but aside from this I can't believe their 'abuse' went too far...I mean, Dumbledore would never have left Harry there if he had thought it might have been dangerous for him...and in the last movie they clearly show how much Petunia and Dudley actually care for Harry...
