You should not confuse Severus Snape - a fictional character - and the actor that gave him blood, flesh and a wonderful voice and presence - Alan Rickman. Your question should be "What do you think of Alan here ?" He played many different characters with talent so it's difficult to compare them. Especially Severus in the HP saga, with Harry in "Love Actually".

I've always loved Alan Rickman, his work is always fantastic. And I love that he's been with the same girl throughout all the years, what could be more wonderful than a loving and faithful man? So he has my respect as well :)
