Harry Potter Question

Who else thought that the 6th movie was really good but was disapointed that they cut out/changed a lot?

For example they left out the battle at Hogwarts while Harry and Dumbledore are gone and Dumbledore didnt tell Harry about how there is something from each house that is a Horcrox.

Yeah, me too. I loved the movie it was really funny and they did a great job, I just didn't like the end. They killed Dumbledore and they just run away?! I expected a fight. And I don't like the part when Snape said "I am the Half-Blood Prince" It sounded like he knew that Harry knows about the whole Half-Blood Prince thing and he shouldnt, right? In the book it sounded so much better. And the part about the Horcroxes, what you said, that was really stupid, they should have put it in. Apart from that it was a very good movie, I really did like it!

Yeah. it was definitely the best movie they just left out a ton. I really wanted to see how bill would look after being attacked by fenrir, and the fight would have been cool to see.

Yeah, I liked the movie but was a bit disappointed that they left some important parts out. I really missed Bill and Fleur. Also Dobby and Kreacher and the Dursley's. And the part where Harry finds out that Snape betrayed his parents, by selling them out to Voldemort. And I dindn't really get that scene at the Burrow (with the fire and all), they should have replaced that scene with something more important like more info about the horcruxes. He doesn't know that Nagini is also a horcrux.
But if you don't compare the movie too much with the book, it was a good movie. I can't wait till the next one comes out!

yes, I agree with you. Dumbledore's funeral was one of the saddest parts in the book, and I couldn't believe that they cut out that. But I liked the movie, I didn't love it, but it was good.

yea it was really good BUT.....!!!! is not what i expected well what we expacted like the memories they don't show only two memories they show more like the one that says when tom killed his father and his other family that was important because thats how the GOF starts and someone that didn't read the book wouldn't understand and the funeral i was angry and dissapointed by that they took out one of the most important things in the book and the part were harry narcisa nad draco have a fight in diagon alley and the detentions that harry gets because of what he did to draco with sectumsempra and what about the part were harry and ron find ginnya and dean kissing in the corridor and ginny attecks ron that would've beeing a good part. well it was really good and awesome and it did get into our hearts and it was funny and trilling ahhh.....lol :D

Yes, but after how many movies and years now- you shouldnt have been that surprised. Not that I care but the stupid girls who read Twilight are going through it right now. I heard them say " The movie is nothing like the book" Its based on the book and the book will always be better because you can put more on a page than in a movie. That is why you should take the movies as one thing and the books as something separate.
