Harry Potter Question

Spoiler for DH part 2

So I still haven't had the chance to see it, but I heard that they kill Lavender in the movie. In the book they leave you guessing if she lived or died, and I have sort of assumed she lived.
Anyway, my question is, how do you guys feel about that change? I know she isn't a popular character, but I didn't want her to die.

In the movie she does die, i agree with you that she did not need to die. I actualy feel that they emphesized to much on death in the movie. If you have seen the movie trailers you will notice that there are dead people EVERYWHERE whitch really does not happen in the book. It is not needed and it seames like more people where sacrificed then necisary. Lavenders death was unneeded and sad.

SPOILER (?) I have seen the movie recently, but I don´t remember her dying. There wasn´t said much about her. Or maybe she did die, but it just wasn´t that important for me to notice.

She did die. Trelawney and Parvati (or was it Padma?) were next to her and then Trelawney said something like "Oh well, she's gone..."

Her not being a significant character, the change didn't really matter to me.

I didn't really care, she wasn't important in my view. Although, when I saw her lying there being "eaten"(I'm guessing, in a way) by Greyback, I did think what a bad way to die that was.
But ya, doesn't really bother me.

SPOILER-Lavender was killed by Greyback and Hermione killed Greyback by knocking him off a tower that was a part of Hogwarts(well your supposed to assume that she killed him.) D:. I was really sad that Lavender died in the film though. She is one of my favorite characters.
