Do you think that Voldemort would be ablt to beat Dumbledore in the department of mysteries id Dumbledore was'nt the owner of the Elder wand?
i mean it says in harry potter wiki under tom riddle. it sys that he was able to hold his will or somehting like that even against elder wand wielder dubledore
Good question. I think Dumbledore would triumph, although the fight would still be difficult. Dumbledore was able to beat Grindelwald while he was the master of the Elder Wand. It seemed to be implied throughout the series that Voldemort may have been a bit stronger than Grindelwald, and he was (arguably) Dumbledore's equal. If neither Voldy nor Dumby had possessed the Elder Wand, Dumbledore still could have won, based on the fact that he beat Grindelwald, with the Elder Wand against him. If Voldemort had it though, I wouldn't be so sure...
I think Dumbledore would still have been able to defeat Voldemort, because he managed to beat Grindelwald while he was the true master of the Elder Wand. Voldemort has always feared only one wizard: Dumbledore. That must have been for a reason.
No. Part of Dumbledore's strength and power in that moment came from his love for Harry and extreme desire to protect him. Voldemort was feeling nothing but hate at that moment. Love is more of a motivator and strengthener than hate is. Dumbledore would have won either way in that moment. Elder wand or no elder wand.
