Harry Potter Question

Would you like to see J.K. Rowling write a prequel?

Like, do you want her to write about the founders of Hogwarts? Or about James and Sirius's time at Hogwarts?

I would love for her to write a book about Severus :)

I'd also like to read about the founders, and the Marauders era.

I would LOVE for her to write about the Marauders <3 she hasn't really told us about their history except for the basics of their past. I wouldn't really enjoy reading about the founders, I was never really interested in their history or anything.

If she were to write a prequel, I'd like it to be about the Marauders. Sirius, Remus & James make up my top 3 characters, so I'd obviously like to read about their times in school.

a prequel! I think she should at least write a collection of short stories about the lives of the Marauders&Lily etc.

I think she should write a prequel to the series focused on Voldemort's first rise to power and that war. I think that would be interesting to read about. We've been hearing about how horrible it was during Voldemort's first reign of power for all seven books, why not experience it?

I think it would be pretty interesting. I did actually wonder if this would happen, but as she does give quite a lot of background information on Harry and the whole of the magic world I got the impression it probably wouldn't happen.

But since it's J. K. Rowling we're talking about here, she would probably come up with something clever that fits in nicely with all the other books if she ever does decide to do it!

Yes, but hopefully if she does write something else, it cannot involve Harry. Harry's story is finished. There is nothing more to say about him, what more can he accomplish? She can probably write some more about the Harry Potter world, but nothing about Harry himself. Or his, Ginny's, Ron, and Hermione's kids. What can they possibly do at Hogwarts that Harry, Ron and Hermione did not?

I was thinking maybe she could write about Harry's parents when they were kids. It's a prequel after all, rather than a sequel, so it should build up to the events in the books rather than add bits in or carry them on.

That's also a good idea.
