Enchanted Question

2 things that bug me about the ballroom scene in Enchanted.

Does anyone notice that Amy Adams’s character Giselle is the ODD one out at the ball. Everyone was wearing 17th century clothes except her. It was like nobody told her what a Kings & Queens ball was?. She wore a purple mermaid dress instead of dying her wedding dress a different colour and add sleeves to make it more 17th century like.

Another one is why did Giselle and Edward left the ball so earlier for? She never danced with Edward at all. Sure she was upset cause Robert was taken but big deal the girl she just move on with life but hey I know it’s a movie and I love it but these two things REALLY BUGGED ME.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. But do you love this movie or do you hate it? Cuz you're like having a battle with yourself....

WellI Have Pointed Out A Few Times When I've Seen It. But What's Wrong With That? I Think The Beauty And The Beast Ballroom Scene Is Just As Good As The Enchanted Ballroom Scene, Don't Get Me Wrong!

Giselle was wearing the dress she had bought for her date with Prince Edward. She hoped that maybe she could fall back in love with her betrothed Edward, the same way she had fallen in love with Robert. But that didn't work. She was still truly in love with Robert, so she wanted to see him just one more time.

Edward was impatient to return to Andalasia, but he agreed to going to the ball just before returning home. Of course, he was already appropriately dressed. Giselle didn't have a chance to change, and even if she did she wouldn't have wanted to waste any more time before seeing Robert again.
