in the pandorica opens rory is an auton so does that mean that the real rory is still lost?

im sorry i honestly don't know, the whole episode was just confusing for me......

The universe was rebooted and the auton rory never existed. Amy remembered what the Doctor had told her,and dreamt about it. She had told everyone about her imaginary friend. At the wedding, the suspenders, bowtie and book from Rivers brought back those memories and she brought the Doctor back. That rewrote history to include the Doctor. The real Rory remebered his travels with the doctor and believed the stories about the auton Amy had told him.

Here's what I think:

Rory was sucked up by the crack, something weird happened, then his soul, mind, and body was made into an auton. The memories were still there, and it was Rory, but it wasn't...It's difficult to understand, I know, but the Roman Rory is simply a model of him. It may seem like him to the upteenth extent, but truly, it's just another auton.

Had to watch the episose several times before i could make what i thought made sense, when amy's house was scanned to make the romans and the pandorica, they scanned a picture of rory dressed as a roman so i guess they misunderstood the picture or their earth history!

An auton is a clone, but not a clone. hard to say this. Well, Rory got sucked into the crack, and the crack (pandorica) was maybe a parallel universe, and rory got changed into an auton. It's a soldier, but when a human being is changed into an auton, his memories are still there, knocking from the inside, trying to get out. memories are erased, but rory got triggered, and remembered amy. He was being controlled, and he didn't wnt to shoot amy, but he did, and he remembers her well and clear.

well remember, River pulled out of the roman book from amy's, a picture of her and rory at a costume party. In that photo, rory was dressed up as a roman. And the sontaran said that everything of the pandora thingymagig was pulled out of Amy's memories. So... dun dun dunnnn....

look, heres what i think: i think that rory is just rory. yea, i know his plastic and memory, but he acted like rory.
