What happened to Bo Peep?

I never found out why/how she disappeared.
I mean, she was still around at the end of Toy Story 2, but everyone was so sad about her in Toy Story 3.
plz help im so lost!

I also think that she was sold in a yard sale. Andy wouldn't hold on to her that long since it's more suitable for girls.

She's probably being played by another kid or placed as a home decor in some house.
