And a lot of people consider Jim Crow and his companions to be offensive because not only were they named after southern segregation laws -- commonly known as Jim Crow laws -- but also because the crows displayed somewhat negative black sterotypes of the era (jive talking, uneductated, authority-disliking, etc.). posted over a year ago.
