Feel free to add your own!

I left out movies with recent re-makes, like the Lohans (Parent Trap, Freaky Friday, Herbie), Witch Mountain, and upcoming ones like Pete's Dragon and Mary Poppins... but if you reeeally want the Herbie franchise rebooted again, I suppose you can add it. ;)

Specifically, I'd like to see a sequel to this one (I don't think a remake is needed). I think it has a fair amount of potential for a continuation, following a future generation. It could be about the farm perhaps becoming notorious for looking after animals that aren't typical of their species or have something unique about them. Or, maybe the farm has over time become overrun with black sheep (some of which could be Danny's offspring). Basically, in some form, they've found a way to run a business based around the lesser mainstream animals! I'd also like to see the live action/hand-drawn animation combination continued. :)

I also think that a remake of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea could be interesting. That's the sort of film I think could benefit from being remade thanks to what we can do with special effects nowadays.

I'd like to see Summer Magic revived in some way too, mostly because it's one of those films I would like more people to know about, but I'm not sure if it really needs a remake or sequel.

I've been thinking about this way too much, and believe I've finally made my decision: I'd be okay with modern versions of Pollyanna and The Three Lives of Thomasina.

I can't think of any movies here that I'd want a sequel to, although glelsey's So Dear to My Heart idea is neat. It's easier to forget a remake than a sequel. For example, I can't deny that Savage Sam is what happened after Old Yeller, but I can keep pretending that there is only version of Freaky Friday, and it stars Jodie Foster.

There has been talk of a Mighty Ducks continuation, and that absolutely terrifies me. I'm kind of curious as to where these characters ended up, but the fear of ruining the happy endings I imagined for everyone outweighs my curiosity at this point.

I'm surprised they haven't re-made Old Yeller yet. If the casting and script were perfect, I think I might be able to see that one re-done. (And if that goes well, the sequels, too.) But anybody lays a finger on Bedknobs or Candleshoe, Imma have a problem.*

I cant believe anyone picked Hocus Pocus? That just came out 20 years ago and was a live-action film. The stars in it are still very much alive and not even that old yet.

^I never really cared for it, but I guess it was kind of a big deal, because lots of people (including link) want it to happen. *shrug*

Also, good call, glelsey - link is getting a remake! Don't know if it'll be a Disney project, but it should have some amazing effects!

^Nice! I didn't realise that, but as I said before I can imagine that going well in today's day and age of CG effects and animation. :)

NO sequels. But I wouldn't mind a remake of:

Bedknobs and Broomsticks
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea
Kidnapped
Treasure Island
The Three Lives of Thomasina
