well, after HOND came hercules and mulan so you'd have to consider those to not be a classic either.

I'm not sure, but I think after Tarzan disney began to use more of their own ideas. Most of the classics are story's someone else wrote, like Snow White, HOND, Peter Pan. Or they are based on some historical character, Pocahontas, I'm not sure about Mulan, but atleast that's a legend...

i don't consider mulan and hercules to be classics, or tarzan. they're all very different from the usual disney movies befor them.

zuntiz: Mulan is a poem. It's,almost, exactly like the Disney version. I think the Disney movies are classic, because they are classic stories, so I agree with you.
