Goodbye May Seem Forever from Fox and the Hound

I cry a little when I watch Lion King and Bambi but just thinking about that song makes me tear up

"Love" or "Not In Nottingham" from Robin Hood, depending on my mood. Or if my mood is 'drunk', maybe "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King. (I am willing to provide both parts if nobody wants to duet. XD)

I liked Pete's Dragon once upon a time, but I haven't been able to get through the opening scene as an old person. *cringe*

Love the remake, though.

Pollyanna was too chirpy and goody-goody for me as a child, but as I became an old crone, I began to see her for what she really was: a smart, determined, manipulative little ball of optimism. The cast, the clothes, the cinematography, and the story itself is all just amazing. Pollyanna is a perfect movie. I am prepared to fight about this. =P

I've also come around on The Three Lives of Thomasina. I've hated cats for most of my life *points to scars from devil-cat* and the cat heaven scene is still straight-up freaky. But now that my life goal is to become a weirdo witch who lives alone in the glen and scares children for fun, I've reconsidered. I also appreciate how all the kids come together to support Mary, who was a stone-cold savage, and sabotage the alleged murderer of one Thomasina MacDhui.

Day 23 - Favorite quote?
"Reckon it's not a thing you can forget. Maybe not even a thing you wanna forget. What I'm tryin' to say is... life's like that sometimes."
"Like what?"
"Well, now and then, for no good reason a man can figure out, life will just haul off and knock him flat. Slam him again' the ground so hard it seems like all his insides is busted. But it's not all like that. A lot of it's mighty fine. And you can't afford to waste the good part frettin' about the bad. That makes it all bad."
"Sayin' it's one thing and feelin' it's another."
"But I'll tell you a trick that's sometimes a big help. You start lookin' around for somethin' good... to take the place of the bad. As a general rule, you can find it."

Day 25 - An underappreciated movie that you wish more people knew about?
I'd never even heard of North Avenue Irregulars (originally Hill's Angels) until I started The Disney Hunt, but I fell in love with it so hard. It's about a bunch of church ladies who get fed up with the cops not doing anything about a local gambling ring, so they become vigilantes, and take them down in a chase that results in the greatest crash-derby ever filmed. If you liked Freaky Friday '76, please hunt this down. XD

Really wish Disney would re-release Westward Ho, the Wagons on DVD, 'cause I ain't about to pay $80 for a used copy.

I would've loved Follow Me, Boys as a kid for entirely different reasons than I do now. The Littlest Horse Thieves and The Horse Without a Head, too.

I'm calling this a tie between Casey finally having a family to go home to in Candleshoe, and Lem's Parade in Follow Me, Boys.
