declaw is actually AMPUTATING their paws it's cruel !! as cats need their claw to scratch themselves, hold on to trees if they fall, or even if the fall inside the house.

I believe declawing is cruel. It causes them pain because it basically amputates the tips of their toes, and cats need to be able to hold onto things and defend themselves.
