I wouldn't worry about it too much for now. :) Kitties are VERY independent little things and will come and go as they please. I remember the first time my cat wandered off she was gone for around 3 weeks. I was so freaked out! Then one day she just showed up as if she was never gone.

Hope your kitty comes back soon!

I have got about 20 cats at home. It depends on whether you live on a farm or in town, or if your cat is a queen or a tom. On farms tom cats are most likely to run away, but not usually in towns. and i don't think queens runs away that often.

Oh, I had the same situation, just like you, and all three things are possible. I have a little kitten at home, and he was away from my house for 2 weeks, and then I found him when I was walking through the field. My little kitten was looking for his mum, and he found her. But cats are very independent, so if your cat isn't coming back in a month time, she probably won't come back at all, but don't be worried....... I hope that you will find your cat soon.................

well all of them are possible but as everyone else said, cats are very independent. so its possible that your cat will come back. my cat is an outdoor cat and sometimes he will leave for a while. but he always comes back. hope you find your cat.

So sorry that your cat is gone! I have been through this situation more than few times but, Usually if a cat doesn't come back after a few weeks then it's most likely they have died! I lost my buddy Rascal in august because he snuck outside and he never came back! He was only 3!
