Buffy the Vampire Slayer Question

Can Buffy Vampires have Babies?

I can't remember if this was discussed on the show or not. So can they reproduce? with all the times Buffy's done it with Spike/Angel we never had to worry about her getting pregnant lol.

Anyone know?

No, the Vampires in the Buffy-Verse can't reproduce. I think they can but only when the Higher Powers think they should. Like Angel and Darla.

No they can't the only reason that Angel and Darla could reproduce was because of the Shamsho profercy even thou it was later discovered that the profercy was re-written.

Since a vampire is technically a re-animated corpse and in addition to having 'no living seed', he has no blood flow, then he can not have an erection, which means no, he can not impregnate a human female, let alone have intercourse with her. There is no folklore evidence of a female vampire being able to either since she is a re-animated corpse as well with no living viable eggs so even if either could 'mate' with a human or another vampire, no combination of the two would produce an offspring NO MATTER HOW YOU TRY TO GET AROUND IT. So, the romantic notion of the vampire is really just that, a notion. The only 'penetration' going on is with their fangs!
