What happens in The Angel:After The Fall & Buffy Season 8 Comics?

Ive seen All the Buffy episodes and most of the ANGEL..but I was wondering what happens in the comics after those shows ended? I'm just really curious.and I dont really want to have to read them. Just a genreal synopsis, no need for tons of details. thankss :)
