Do you think Stephenie Meyer purposefully brainwashed everybody? or was it an accident?

I know the question sounds silly but I sware I really want to know.

I dont think she brainwashed anyone at all..Its just a book series like any other books series out there.. its not her fault her books became popular

However, if she did secretly do it on purpose, she'd be the next most evil person in the world, perhaps near Adolf Hitler.

Well, she obviously likes it but doesn't really appreciate it, considering what she's doing to the fans with postponing Midnight Sun.
