The house of night is a really good series to read, it combines romance with high school and teenage worries. At first it may seem like a copy of twilight because it has vampyres but it's not because it is more spiritually based, similar to the beliefs of Jacob Black.
Another good book is evermore by Alyson Noel. There is another one of the books from this series(the immortals) coming out this month in the united states. i haven't read it yet but i have heard from a book worm that it is the next twilight.
if you want a romance book that will move you emotionally 'before i die' is a really great choice. It follows the story of a girl living with lukemia and you see her falling in love and coming to terms with her disease.
if you like sad romances like before i die then 'ps. i love you' by cecelia ahern is another good read.If you have seen the film then you have nothing to fear because the book is nothing like it. Although not quite as good a page turner as some of the other books above.

Also Jane Austin books are really good if you enjoy romance or try Katie MacAlister she has some really great romance novels out at the moment.

Jane AUSTEN...I mean, that's GREAT literature & written perfectly!! Twilight had glaringly obvious mistakes in it...the story is fabulous but the writing not so much...

Well, I would suggest Evermore, Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, the works of Shakesphere, among others. Google romance novels and you can find some good ones all across the internet.
