Well, I can't answer that for you. I don't know what you like, even though you like rick riordan doesn't mean you'll like all his books.
I like Alex flinn. I love her book beastly, but I don't like cloaked (another of her books).
Plus there is the fact that I never read the hunger games. I've heard that they are good, but I really don't know.

Rick Riordan didn't write The Hunger Games. Rick Riordan's books aren't like The Hunger Games. Just because you like Rick Riordan's writing style(s) doesn't mean you're going to like the style Suzanne Collins took for The Hunger Games.
ohhh ya! i read all the Percy Jackson books and i thought i would not like the hunger games but i heard more abought it and when my did got it for me i love it, it is amazing and i am only on chapter 11!
If you've read Percy Jackson, I assume you're used to painful death, so I doubt THG deaths would be terrible for you.
Personally I'm a big fan of both.
I love rick riordan's books, but nothing comes close to how awesome hunger games is. You'll love it if u like action, a little bit of love ,and suspense.
