Can you reccomend some books to me?

The Princess Bride by S. Morgenstern. Goldman's abridgement is very good.
The story can be considered a satire of your classic fairy tale. I also suggest watching the movie.

If you enjoyed the satire there, try Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels. His other works are just as good.
