My new favorite is The Watchers Trilogy by Karice Bolton! It rocks and the first two books are out. It has lots of romance and I totally fell in love with Athen!!! The last book should be epic after reading Legions (book 2), but it's not out yet. The first book, Awakening, sets the stage and had lots of romance and a past life(s) etc to sort through and then Legions just went totally awesome with battles and love and I just can't say enough how much I loved it! Everyone I told to read has loved it too. I also just read warm bodies which has love, but not in the normal sense.
Try Katie MacCalister. She's written a bunch of "paranormal romance" books. The series I read, featuring the heroine, Aisling Grey, starts w/the title of You Slay Me. Aisling finds out she's a guardian to hell's portals, and falls in love w/a shape-shifting dragon. Really, it's a fun series.
