Yup I did read it. Its actually pretty good. its a bit different from "Vampire Academy" actually. as it is based in the human world the environment is less darker than VA. the number of strigoi is at a minimum as well as other creatures. 95% of the characters are human. then of course the problems are different as its told from the viewpoint of an alchemist, a completely different perspective.
but if you haven't read VA still you'll understand the plot quite easily.
its really a fun read.
but if you ask honestly i preferred Vampire Academy. i preferred Rose to Sydney
